TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED

This site collects data in two ways.

Data collected in an automated manner
During Users’ browsing, the following information may be collected, which is
stored in the server (hosting) log files, in some cases even in the site database:


– Internet Protocol (IP) address;
– browser type;
– Parameters of the device used to connect to the site;
– Internet Service Provider (ISP) name;
– Date and time of visit;
– Visitor’s source (referral) and exit web pages;
– Number of clicks and pages visited.


This data is used for statistical and analytical purposes, in aggregate form only. None of this information is related to the physical person-user of the site, and it does not in any way allow their identification. The IP address is used for security purposes only and is not cross-referenced with any other data.


In addition, the site may collect additional data, including user browsing data, for advertising purposes. This data does not include name, address, email address, or phone number, and is used to provide personalized advertisements about products and services. Data given voluntarily
The site may collect other data in case of voluntary use of services by users, such as commenting services, communication (chat, contact forms, sending newsletters), purchase (shopping cart), and will be used only for the provision of the requested service:

  • First and last name;
  • Date and place of birth;
  • Physical residence address;
  • vat number and/or tax code;
  • company and location;
  • image (avatar);
  • social profiles;
  • contact details (tel, email)
  • domain names;
  • any trademarks;
  • residence or geographic location;
  • payment methods and bank details.

The User absolves the Owner of any responsibility for any violations of the laws, guaranteeing that they have the right to communicate or disseminate the data. It is the User’s responsibility to verify that he or she has the permissions and rights to enter personal data of third parties or content protected by national and international regulations (e.g., copyright).

MODE OF DATA PROCESSING

The processing of personal data is carried out mainly using electronic procedures and media, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, correctness, non-excessiveness and relevance provided for in current European legislation. Data are processed at the Data Controller’s premises, and at the datacenter in use, which, processing data on behalf of the Data Controller, acts as a data controller under specific agreement (DPA), and in accordance with European standards. Web hosting is located in the European Economic Area but may propagate its information to nations located outside of it.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

Data are used only for the purposes for which they were collected, unless it is reasonably possible to use them for compatible purposes under applicable laws. Specifically:

Service provision
Data are used primarily for the provision of services requested by Users:
– Hosting services, cloud, domain management, email, customer support.

Registration of domain names also involves the collection of a range of data in order to enable user contact and verification, and also for communications such as deadlines and possible transfers. Moreover, the registration of a domain name implies the inclusion of one’s personal data within a publicly accessible register (“Whois”) kept at the competent Registration Authority for the chosen extension, except in cases where the Interested Party has requested the obscuring of personal data in the manner provided by the competent Registration Authority or by the contractual conditions relating to the Service.

Statistics (analysis)

The data is used in an aggregated and anonymous form only in order to verify the proper functioning of the site, to improve the platform. None of this information is related to the natural person (data subject) user or visitor to the site, and it does not in any way allow them to be identified.


Security

Data are processed in order to protect the security of the website (firewall, virus detection), users and their information, and to prevent or expose fraud or abuse (e.g., spam) to the detriment of the website. They are recorded automatically and may possibly also include personal data (Ip address) that could be used, in accordance with the relevant laws, in order to block attempts to damage the site itself or to harm other users, or otherwise harmful or criminal activities. This data is never used for identification or profiling of the User and is deleted periodically.


Marketing/Advertising

Users’ data may be used by third-party services to send advertisements on other sites. The data (email) is also used for the provision of newsletter service addressed only to customers for offers or news related to existing contracts.

Shopping

Data are processed to handle orders, provide products and services, manage product and service warranty, process payments, communicate with users about orders, products, services and promotional offers, update records, and generally manage users’ accounts, show
content such as wish lists and customer reviews, and recommend products and services that might be of interest to users.


Ancillary activities

Data may be disclosed to third parties who perform functions necessary or instrumental to the operation of the service, and to enable third parties to perform technical, logistical and other activities on our behalf. The data controller uses vendors to carry out certain activities, such as fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending traditional mail, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, making credit card payments, and providing customer services. Providers have access only to personal data that are necessary to perform their tasks, and agree not to use the data for other purposes, and are required to treat personal data in
compliance with current regulations.
